How do I play?
There are 2 ways to play in a One Man Scramble Local Qualifying event:
- View our list of current One Man Scramble Local Qualifying events and contact the Tournament Director of an event that is listed as “public”, which is open to the general public. Click at left to see your area’s current list.
- Become an OMS Tournament Director and organize your own Local Qualifying event for your golf club, business organization, or group of friends — 12 player minimum. Download a Tournament Kit to get started.
What is the cost and how do you win?The entry fee per player is $37 (plus green fees, if applicable). The top (2) Gross and top (2) Net winners in each division (men's, sr. men's, and women's) will advance to a Regional Championship. Net scores will be calculated by using 70% of a full handicap (not the index). The “adjusted” handicap will then be rounded to the nearest whole number (example: 5.5 goes to 6, 5.4 goes to 5). Note: Players with a 31 handicap and above will use the maximum “adjusted” handicap of 22. Paying Entry Fees online
One Man Scramble Local Qualifying Entry Fees are now payable online. If Entry Fee payment is not available online for an event, you must contact the Tournament Director of that event to get information about event fees (OMS Entry Fee and/or green fee).
Information about One Man Scramble Local Qualifying events (i.e., additional green fees, check-in times, starting times, etc.) will be different at each event. To receive this information, players must contact the Tournament Director of the event.
All online Entry Fee payments will be confirmed by an email receipt, which will reserve your spot in a One Man Scramble Local Qualifier.
